Apply For An Award From The Innovation Fund

In 2016, the Trustees resolved to set up an Innovation Fund, to encourage innovative on-farm practical research of benefit to Scottish agriculture. The project can be based on livestock, crops, buildings, machinery or farm diversification. It is hoped that applications will come from farmers and farming advisors, rather than from the academic community.

Each year, the sum of £10,000 is earmarked for awards to applicants to this Fund. The awards are intended as financial support for the costs associated with the implementation of new ideas.

The Trustees meet up once a year to decide upon awards from the Innovation Fund and the closing date for applications is the 15th of November.
